(1D) - The surface has discontinuous granularity, also known as matte surface. Process:Hot rolled + annealed shot blasted pickled + cold rolled + annealed pickled.
(2D) - Silvery white with slight gloss. Process: Hot rolled + annealed shot blasted pickled + cold rolled + annealed pickled.
(2B) - Silvery white with better gloss and flatness than 2D surface. Process: Hot rolled + annealed shot blasted + cold rolled + annealed pickled + tempered rolled.
(BA) - Excellent glossy surface with high reflectivity, like mirror surface. Process:Hot rolled + annealed shot blasted pickled + cold rolled + annealed pickled + surface polished + quenched and rolled.
(No.3)-Good gloss and coarse grain surface. Process: polished and rolled with 100~120 abrasive material (JIS R6002) for 2D or 2B.
(No.4)-Good gloss and fine grain surface. Process: For 2D or 2B, polished and tempered with 150~180 lapidary material (JIS R6002).
(8K) - Mirror finish. Process: 2D or 2B products are polished to a mirror finish with the appropriate grit.
(HL) - Silvery gray with hairline. Process: 2D or 2B products are polished with appropriate abrasive material to achieve a continuous surface finish.
